Leadership

Meta Software's Board of Directors guides us in our pursuit to provide solutions that help large commercial banks meet their productivity goals in their back-office operations. Our directors include:

James Gibbons, Director
Mr. Gibbons is the CEO of Capital G, a diversified financial service company based in Bermuda. Mr. Gibbons' business experience spans the fields of financial service products and operations. He is also a director of a number of private companies in the industrial, technology and financial service sectors.

Michael Locker, Director
Mr. Locker is the CEO of the New York-based Locker Associates. This business consulting services firm specializes in enhancing the competitiveness of businesses and industries on behalf of corporate, union and government clients.

Valerio Pinci, Executive Vice President
Since joining Meta in 1990, Mr. Pinci has led the growth and direction of our professional services group as well as the development of the MetaFore solution. With over 15 years of consulting experience, he has deep expertise in modeling and simulation of bank back-office operations, process improvement, capacity analysis, workforce management and project management in engagements for many large financial services organizations.

Robert Shapiro, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Shapiro is senior vice president of Global 360, a Dallas, Texas-based firm providing business process management and analysis solutions. A Meta founder and CEO from 1985 to 2000, he later launched CapeVisions, which Global 360 acquired in 2004. Mr. Shapiro is a member of the Workflow Management Coalition.

Robert Seltzer, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Seltzer, who joined Meta in 1987 and became CEO in 2000, is focused on applying our technology to solve business problems. He has authored a number of papers on topics such as the economic impact of check volume decline, the business ramifications of payment electronification on unit costs, and the business case for adopting emerging new payment technologies. In addition, he has presented on these topics before the American Bankers Association, The Conference Board and other privately-sponsored seminar and industry forums.
